“I cannot recommend Hyland Creek too highly.  The Cabin is south facing with a great view of the mountain from the deck and front window.  The home-cooked breakfast was excellent and different each day.  Everything was clean and well maintained.  Hyland Creek is 5 minutes or less from town on a good gravel road.  Neoma and Russell are friendly and nothing was too much trouble.  All round, excellent!”  Michael Furminger, Ireland

2018,

I stayed at the B&B for an overnight after a water-taxi with clients from Wrangell, Alaska. That is around 6 hrs straight driving and navigating the river.

The B&B is the perfect place to recharge and reset after a long trip! The beautiful views and open country, the ranch-style setting, and the extremely comfortable cabin were just what I needed. Neoma was a great host and is a wonderful cook as well.

Just as good as home, I hope to visit again soon! Zach, Wrangell, Alaska

2017,

I absolutely enjoyed staying at this cabin. It is brand new and well stocked with towels and toiletries. The kitchen is amazing with top of the line pots and pans. Neoma provides an array of spices, coffee beans and a cofffee press. It offers beautiful scenery and privacy. I highly recommend this accommodation!” Sheena S.

I don’t usually give five stars unless I’m staying in a luxury hotel where all my needs are anticipated however given the time and place this B&B deserves it!

We recently meet friends for a rafting trip on the Stikine River starting in Telegraph Creek BC. Telegraph Creek is a small Tahltan community with few services. The Hyland B&B was a great place to stay with full kitchen in a new (2017) cabin in the woods. The property is located a few miles from the river and the put in for our trip but Neoma our friendly hostess was very accommodating in offering shuttle service. We were a large party (12) but all felt cozy. My wife and I slept in a wall tent which was very nice complete with queen sized bed, linens and comforter. The rest of our party fit nicely in the cabin. The property was very environmentally friendly and used 100% off grid power-we never heard a generator during our stay. HOT water was plentiful (this is very important for river travelers) and all had the opportunity to have a hot shower.
Breakfast was awesome and hearty. Fresh fruit, muffins and coffee greeted us at the door…followed by eggs, pancakes and bacon! Most of the food was grown on the property.

There was more to do then just eat and sleep. A beautiful trail led from the property up into the near by hills and offered a great view of the valley. “ Johnisupdariver, Wrangell Alaska

We were directed to Hyland Creek by the full B&B in Dease and were very impressed. The Cabin was extremely clean and the bed very comfortable. The homemade bread for breakfast was definitely a bonus. The setting was amazing and the hostess, Neoma very friendly and welcoming. Thank you.

Our business deals with Hyland Creek B and B for lodging, sharing travellers and guests (due to our vast area and being two of a limited number of accommodations in our area). We always love to refer our guests to stay at these wonderful accommodations! The reviews speak for themselves and we wanted to make note of the host/hostess as well as they are very easy to deal with, very fair on a business level and personal level, and are always accommodating to unique needs that arise due to the remoteness of our area up here! We have thoroughly enjoyed our business relationship and thank you for being a wonderful company, for having such nice accommodations to send people to, and for being honest business partners! Cheers to a wonderful 2019/2020 season!

Getaway in nature!

We were just looking for a weekend to get away from everything. It was all that and more! A very cozy and clean cabin, great scenery, wonderful and friendly hosts, and lots of room to walk/hike. We enjoyed a hike up the hill in the back and spent some time at the look out enjoying the pristine scenery. Highly recommended!!!”

I stayed at Hyland Creek Bed and Breakfast while working in Telegraph Creek, BC and would recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in the area. Mountains everywhere you look, the room was cool despite 30C days and fresh eggs from the chicken coup for breakfast! Also, two adorable doggos and a cat that snorts!” Stephen Barber

“Book this place. Just do it. The hosts are lovely and seem like old friends. The breakfast is completely from scratch and is excellent- we already miss it! The hosts have two awesome dogs on property that are big friendly babies. We found the suite comfortable, beautiful, and new: not “mousey” or “spidery” at all. There were lots of personal touches and a beautiful quiet view. The shower is nice and hot! Also, the stargazing is incredible! There is also a number of quad paths to walk on the 100 acre property as well as a bit of a hike to a nice viewpoint. There are a million berries to eat if you like a tart cranberry flavour. With berries come the odd black bear, which was cool to see. “ H + J, B.C.

“From the moment we arrived, hosts Neoma & Russel were incredible. The property is serene, tranquil & breathtaking. The accommodations are beautifully appointed with the country rustic feel but everything is brand new! Very clean, brand new appliances, beds, and lots of linens & towels. We had our morning coffee on the deck with an incredible view of the mountains. Easy to find once in Telegraph & check in & out with great convenience. Thank you Neoma & Russ for a fantastic stay! We will definitely be back 🙂 “

Favourite memory of Canada
What a magical place Hyland Creek is! I have come to this area a couple of times and enjoyed the hospitality, beauty, cleanliness, peace, and beautiful cabin several times. I enjoy the cooked breakfasts; Neoma is a wonderful cook, and the home made breakfast to die for! We will refer to anyone travelling in this area. Thank you for being so great with accommodating my needs and our families needs on a whim; and thank you for keeping my toque that i left there, and sending it back to me. We will return for sure!!!

The cabins are clean and convenient with a nice view of the valley. The food for two breakfasts was amazing considering we were unreserved – fresh strawberries and lots of eggs. Hiking to the overlook gives a better sense of the impact of the forest fire. Neoma was very accommodating to our needs and helped us see many thing about Telegraph Creek.

We were a party of 6 that were jetboated up the Stikine River, and we spent two nights at Hyland Creek with Neoma and Russell before we launched on our 160 mile river trip. This little hideaway gem in the middle of nowhere, in our opinion, with outstanding views exceeded our expectations. Four in our party stayed in the cabin and my husband and I stayed in the glamping tent with a very comfortable queen bed. It was charming and very romantic with twinkle lighting. The cabin was incredibly well-stocked with all amenities and very comfortable and cozy. There isn’t anything that this couple had not thought of to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Neoma is a phenomenal cook! Loved her breakfasts. Most everything is grown right on property. Neoma and Russell also transported us to and from the river with our gear in tow, something that we could not have done without having a truck. When visiting Telegraph Creek, please stay with at Hyland B&B. Highly recommended!!

“After an amazing drive in to Telegraph Creek, though an incredible canyon and an area I like to call “the Hawaii of Canada) you come to this classic old town hung on the edge of the canyon surrounded by mountain peaks. But were to stay?

Hyland Creek Bed and Breakfast has a great log cabin tucked off in a corner for privacy, completely self sufficient. Everything is top notch, with tons of room, a great front deck with a terrific view. The breakfast is pretty special too. Full on farm fresh, big hearty meal! Plus the rates are very reasonable.

Neoma and Russell are fantastic hosts as well, making it the best experience on my trip.” Canadian Bushman, Whiterock

“Nice little cabin separate from the main house. Beds were comfy and we loved the location. Highly recommend spending the night and taking your time exploring the Telegraph Creek area. “After having lodged at many places in Canada, this was by far the most relaxing and memorable experience. The lodging itself is brand new build cabin, with three rooms, hot water on demand, a gorgeous kitchen and living room area! The beds are extremely comfortable, and the entire building is extremely clean (even the corners)!! The view of the gorgeous mountains and the quiet were perfect for a wonderful rest. The morning was welcomed with a lovely breakfast by the host Neoma- who herself is so kind and welcoming! We didn’t want to leave! We will definitely recommend this to anyone we know heading to Telegraph Creek! Thank you Russel and Neoma!” Ingram Family, B.C.
